Digital Photo Magic with Photoshop CS3

There are so many features packed into PS CS3 that we simply can't cover them all in a single series. We'll take advantage of these tutorials to dive into some brand new techniques as well as covering multiple and more advanced options in regards to some of the techniques we learned in the previous series "Photoshop CS3 Tips and Tricks for Digital Photographers".

1 - Color Cast Removal and Photo Filters (Running Time - 9:23)
In this tutorial we're going to talk about an optional color cast removal technique and the Photo Filter option in CS3, as well as painting with Layer Masks to control the filters applied.

Photoshop CS3 makes it easier than ever to create beautiful panoramas. We will learn how to quickly and easily seam our images together. We will then use a tricky keyboard shortcut to take a snapshot and make adjustments to our finished product.

5 - Batch Rename (Running Time - 5:53)
Quite often your camera will assign a code name for the file name of your digital photo. This file name is usually associated with the make of the camera and can be very confusing when trying to organize your photos.In this tutorial, we are going to take a look at renaming your digital photo files with Adobe Bridge's Batch Rename.

6 - Grayscale Calculations (Running Time - 5:51)
Grayscale Calculations is a mostly overlooked feature in Photoshop CS3. In this tutorial, we are going to take a look at how we can use this tool to create better black and white conversions with channel blending.

7 - Flash Web Gallery From Bridge (Running Time - 9:12)
In this tutorial, we are going to learn how to build Flash based Web Photo Galleries directly from Adobe Bridge. We will also look at copyright protecting our images as we build our gallery.

8 - Blur Filters (Running Time - 6:48)
Photoshop's CS3 Blur Filters are great for simulating motion and depth of field. In this tutorial, we will take a look at applying both these techniques to spice up our digital photos.

9 - Picture Package (Running Time - 4:39)
The Picture Package feature, bundled in Photoshop CS3, offers up lots of great options for printing multiple images onto one sheet of photo paper. This is a great time and money saver when printing images in larger quantities.

10 - Luminosity Adjustments (Running Time - 6:26)
In this episode, we will learn a great techique for adjusting only the luminous areas of your photograph. This is a great technique for making those sunset or fall colors photographs really pop out.

11 - Gallery Prints (Running Time - 5:53)
Ever thought about displaying your prints? Here is a quick and easy technique for creating that professional gallery print with Photoshop CS3.

12 - Camera Raw Settings(Running Time - 5:29)
We are going to jump back into Adobe Bridge for this tutorial and take a look at a great trick for applying Camera Raw settings to multiple images at once.

13 - Contact Sheets (Running Time - 10:14)
Contact sheets are a great way to display mutiple photographs on one sheet of photopaper. This is an essential technique when clients need to quickly and easily review all of the images you are presenting from your shoots, other than from the computer.

14 - Basic Curves Adjustments (Running Time - 8:26)
Photoshop has made some big improvements in the way the Curves Dialog Box looks and functions in Photoshop CS3. In this tutorial, we will take a look at these new features and how we can utilize them to greatly improve our digital photographs.

15 - Cross Processing with Curves (Running Time - 4:29)
We will take a look at one of the great new presets bundled into the Curves Dialog Box in Photoshop CS3. Cross Processing is a very effective technique for acheiving that high impact tech look that appears in so many contemporary magazine publications.

16 - True Grit (Running Time - 7:20)
One of the current hot new techniques in Photoshop is that gritty grunge look. In this turorial, we will learn how to create that look using filters, blend modes, and noise.

17 - Dramatic Photo Effects (Running Time - 8:47)
In this tutorial, you will learn a more in depth techique for creating that artistic edge with your digital photos. This techique will create that more dramatic edgy look to spice up those everyday photographs.
